Class 2, Cat C Drivers
We are recruiting experienced Class 2 (C) drivers to work at our prestigious national client in Coventry in England. The role involves delivering mainly food products to various UK sites - runs can be local or nationwide. You will need to complete a driving assessment. If you pass, full training will be provided on the routes and delivery procedures. The work involves handball and a relatively large number of drops.
Rates are between £9 and £11 per hour for 4 x 10 hour days. The work is regular. Start times are normally 0600 for days and there may be night work. Occasionally, start times will vary. After 12 weeks working as a temporary worker, you will become a permanent employee. The salary for this is £19,800 per annum with overtime payable
For insurance purposes you will need to have held your Cat C licence for at least two years, be over the age of 23, and have no more than six points on your licence (no DD, DR or IN). You must have good written and spoken English. Experience of right hand drive trucks desirable. Limited Company drivers are welcomed. Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations together with a good knowledge of British driving regulations / highway code required.
